The DRG girls are getting ready to jetset off to Townsville for a weekend long battle with 7 other teams. Stepping up against our sisters from Malice Springs who have some forcefull backup from Airlie Beach Trash Bags and A few K-town girls. We will also be bouting Cairns Derby Dolls, Tableland Roller Derby, and once again meeting the powerful Reef City Rollers, Gladston Rollers, Townsville B side and the reigning champs Townsvillians A-Team.
 
Head down any night to have a look and watch our training sessions. We hope to see you for some skates on experience at the next intake.

Fresh Meat

The Darwin Roller Girls are looking for fresh meat (new recruits) to join Darwin’s first Roller Derby team. Roller Derby is the fastest growing sport in the world. It is predominately a women-only team sport and is not only a vigorous contact sport, but extremely competitive and team orientated.

Zebra Pack

Come Play as a reff! Team Zebra are a pack of their own and this is the ideal place for men to join up and be a part of the Derby action. Refs are respected and essential members of the league, hold the female players in high regard and enforce fair play and control over the bouts. Women most certainly can referee as well.

Non-Skating Officials

Don’t want to play rough? That’s ok; you can still join us as a non-skating official. This is a great option for those who would love to have a little skate at training but don’t want to play rough or participate in bouts. Its also the place for those who have no intention of standing up on those bloody things but really want to be a part of the action.

Men are strongly encouraged to join as referees or non-skating officials
