Changes have been made to the weekly training Program specific to Sunday and Thursday nights. Please check changes under the training tab and keep up to date while we work through our preperation for The Great Southern Slam. Thanks for your understanding and patience.
The Darwin Rollergirls is a non-profit organization that is self-governed and
dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of our skaters and community by operating a women’s flat track roller derby league. We strive to advance our organization by encouraging teamwork, dedication, and cultivating the individual talents and strengths of all of our members. We are committed to promoting athleticism while maintaining the sense of fun and individuality that roller derby represents.
Fresh Meat
The Darwin Roller Girls are looking for fresh meat (new recruits) to join Darwin’s first Roller Derby team. Roller Derby is the fastest growing sport in the world. It is predominately a women-only team sport and is not only a vigorous contact sport, but extremely competitive and team orientated.
Zebra Pack
Come Play as a reff! Team Zebra are a pack of their own and this is the ideal place for men to join up and be a part of the Derby action. Refs are respected and essential members of the league, hold the female players in high regard and enforce fair play and control over the bouts. Women most certainly can referee as well.
Non-Skating Officials
Don’t want to play rough? That’s ok; you can still join us as a non-skating official. This is a great option for those who would love to have a little skate at training but don’t want to play rough or participate in bouts. Its also the place for those who have no intention of standing up on those bloody things but really want to be a part of the action.
Men are strongly encouraged to join as referees or non-skating officials
